There is a new kind of bulb that has hit the market which contains two arc tubes within it. It is, in essence, two bulbs in one. The Hortiux Super Blue contains both a 600w High Pressure Sodium arc tube and a 400w Metal Halide arc tube within its glass housing. This creates a true “Full Spectrum” canopy of light for plants to bathe and grow in. The light produced by these bulbs is lower in overall lumens created but very highly absorbable to plants.

The Sentinel CHHC-1 total climate controller handles ALL of your growing area conditions accurately & reliably. First the CHHC-1 has all of the CO2 control features of the Sentinel CPPM-1. This All in one climate controller also has the ability to control 3 other devices: a cooling device, a heating device and humidity device. As with all of Sentinel’s climate controls, the CHHC-1 controller is simple to use. You can set separate day and night temperature settings as well as humidity settings. This climate controller even records the Min and Max temperature, humidity and CO2 levels. Unlike some CO2 controllers, the Sentinel CHHC-1 is able to be calibrated by the user with our “self calibration feature.”

Climate Controller Overview

There are 3 environmental conditions which must be controlled for productive indoor growing. Independent settings on the CHHC-1 make it easy to accurately control your “atmosphere” inside the area.

Temperature is up first. The CHHC-1 has 2 separate outputs to control cooling and heating. Next is humidity and the CHHC-1 can either increase or decrease the amount of humidity inside the area. The third is CO2 PPM. This climate controller controls carbon dioxide with Part-Per-Million accuracy. This climate controller also features a remote combination Temperature, Humidity, CO2 & Light level sensor module that can be located inside the growing area. For indoor growing, Cooling devices such as ventilation fans or air-conditioners connect to the Cooling Device receptacle and heaters for cooler climate greenhouses can be connected to the Heat Device receptacle. Connect your 120 volt compressed CO2 solenoid / regulator assembly to the CO2 receptacle. Dehumidifier or a humidifier can be connected to the Humidity Device receptacle.
