Adjust A Wing reflector for grow lights

Adjust-A-Wing 1000 W pictureAdjust A Wing reflectors, 97% reflective, glass coated aluminum wings, are the most efficient reflector available, as they allow you to truly control the spread of light to plants. The light spread can be switched from broad, even light patterns for maximum area coverage and deep foliage penetration. Adjust a wing reflector can also be set to uniform concentrated light patterns for use at greater distances above plants. Vertical adjustments to the lamp holder provide a method for fine correction on the grow light reflectors.

The Medium Adjust A Wing Grow Light package is the correct size for a 400 watt or 600 watt bulb and includes:

  • Medium Adjust A Wing reflector
  • Socket
  • Lamp Cord

The Large Adjust A Wing Reflector Grow Light package Package is the correct size for a 1000 watt bulb and includes

  • Large Adjust-A-Wing reflector
  • Socket
  • Lamp Cord

Add an optional Super Spreader Heat Shield
The design of the Super Spreader is based on logic and simplicity! Increase Yield, Reduce heat and Save Power. Made specifically to work with the Adjust a Wing grow lights. The optional Super Spreader creates a wider, more even light spread that eliminates Hot Spots and shady edges. It allows the plant to be positioned much closer to the light.

igrowhydro.com carries the Adjust A Wing reflector with a variety of digital ballasts. One packageĀ  includes the Quantum Digital Ballast, Bulb, Reflector, Socket, Cords – It is ready to plug in and go. Quantum Digital Ballasts are capable of running 120 or 240 volt. Quantum Series ballast is the only digital ballast on the market to offer you a dimming switch that enables you to run your ballast at the strength you desire. This not only makes it easier to harden off young plants just being introduced to HID lighting, but also allows you to control your footprint and power usage as well. You can increase the power to your ballast as your garden grows and demands more light, and save yourself a substantial amount of money on your power bill over the length of your crop cycle.

  1. Adjust a Wing Reflectors are still my number one reflector. I would run nothing but Adjust a wings, if i could.

  2. These adjust a wings are pretty good, the best way to use them is in an enclosed room, with AC and pumped in CO2. These are not air or liquid cooled reflectors…but they diffuse light very well and most pro setups are totally sealed off rooms with AC and CO2.

Using multiple 600 watt bulbs and ballasts I think is the best way to go…I agree with the school of thought that the 600 bulbs throw out a better overall lumen saturation than the 1000s..

    I would go with 3 600s over two 1000s anyway…
